Second Teen Dies Following Ennis Car Crash

A tragic Easter Sunday crash in Ennis has claimed a second life.

Gardaí have confirmed this afternoon that 19-year-old Darragh Killeen has died in hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash.

He was one of three young men travelling in a car which collided with a wall on the Shanaway Road in Ennis at around 4.20am on Easter Sunday.

His cousin, Oisín Cahill, was pronounced dead at the scene, while their friend Enda Hickey remains in critical condition in hospital.

Darragh and Oisín had been involved with the Kilmaley U21 hurlers just hours before the tragedy occurred.
