Rural Clare Hailed As A Stargazers’ Delight

Clare’s rural areas have been highlighted as some of the best parts in the country for stargazers.

The CSO has published a report on foot of the use of satellite imagery to estimate levels of artificial light throughout the country.

Looking at each electoral area, it’s found that West Clare and the Killaloe area both among the ten areas in the country with the lowest levels of artificial light.
