The Transport Minister insists he is committed to funding necessary upgrade works on Clare’s local roads.
Minister Shane Ross made the comments as he announced just over 1.3 million euro in funding for Clare routes under the Community Involvement Scheme.
That will allow for works on 37 different routes, mainly smaller roads, with part of the cost covered by local lcommunities in the form of cash work works.
