Road Users Urged To Keep Safety In Mind As Weather Heats Up

As the weather heats up again this week, Gardaí in Clare are urging vulnerable road users to keep their safety and the safety of others at the forefront of their minds.

Temperatures are set to soar to as high as 24 degrees this week, and under phase one of the government’s roadmap, people are only allowed to travel up to 5 kilometres from their home for exercise.

This increased from 2 kilometres a week ago, which resulted in more people out walking and cycling on the roads.
