Works to address long-term footpath issues in Scarriff are due to proceed in the coming weeks.
For the past 18 months, residents and business owners have been battling treacherous surfaces there, when funding ran dry for the initial planned works.
A contractor has now been appointed with a view to beginning on May 20th to resurface the damaged parts, and it’s expected to be completed by the end of August.
