Clare Gardaí Out In Force As Part Of Efforts To Stamp Out Drink Driving

Gardaí in Clare are warning motorists that they can be breath-tested if they commit any road traffic offence.

Increased resources are being deployed this Bank Holiday weekend in an effort to crack down on speeding distraction driving such as using your mobile phone, drink driving and failure to wear your seatbelt.

They’re warning people not to drink and drive if heading out socialising and to instead arrange a lift or take a taxi home.
