Rice College Appoints First Ever Female Deputy Principal

An Ennis Secondary School has appointed a woman to a senior management role for the first time in its 174-year history.

Claire Culligan, from Lissycasey, has been appointed as a Deputy Principal at Rice College.

She is the first woman to be appointed to such a senior position in the College, which was founded by the Christian Brothers in 1826.
