Reductions Of Almost 60 Percent In Water Leakages In Killaloe System

Close to 900,000 litres of water are being saved every day in Killaloe after the recent repair of leaks in the system.

The six-week repair project got underway at the end of June and cost in the region of €200,000.

The Irish Water and Clare County Council joint effort identified and repaired leaks in the system, reducing the level of treated water leaking out by 57 percent.
