Rape Crisis Midwest says there’s light at the end of the tunnel for the organisation following a funding boost.

An additional 15,000 euro has been granted by Túsla for the second half of this year, and it’s hoped that double that will be made available for the full year next year.

Funding for the organisation, which supports women and men who have suffered from sexual violence or abuse in Clare, Limerick and Tipperary was cut by almost 60,000 euro in 2008.
