Two Clare GAA clubs are to benefit from grants of €11,000 each, thanks to a Shannon-based medical equipment firm.

Edwards Lifesciences is issuing the funding to both Éire Óg and Parteen GAA clubs, along with two Limerick clubs, to mark its €80 million investment in the region.

A total of 34 clubs across the two counties applied to be considered for the funding, while the company has also promised volunteer hours to help with their facelifts.
