An Post has confirmed that interviews will be held this week in a bid to fill the recently vacated Ardnacrusha postmaster position.
The local branch there closed unexpectedly a month ago due to circumstances beyond the control of An Post, with residents catered for at Bridge Street in Limerick City in the interim.
Now though, interviews are to be held with prospective postmasters and mistresses with a view to ensuring the future of the service there.
