Public Transport In The West Needs To Be Prioritised Says Lobby Group

It’s claimed the Government has failed to realise the importance of public transport in the West of Ireland.

The latest figures from the National Transport Authority have revealed that over 1,400 travel on the Galway to Limerick line on census day, a rise of 22% on 2015.

It points to an annual figure of more than 420,000 people using the line, which passes through Clare, which is almost double the projected figures for three years time.
