Clare’s only publicly listed company has reported higher profits and revenues for last year.
Engineering company Mincon says its operating profits were up 38% to over 14 million euro in 2017, while revenue for the year was up 28% to 97.3 million euro.
In an update to the stock market, Chief Executive Joe Purcell says the year was even stronger than the results suggest.

The Shannon-based company is also expanding internationally, and has announced the acquisition of a company in Sweden, to add to the purchase of assets in Finland and Chile over the past year.
