Professor Of Epidemiology Says Government Must Ensure Arrivals Are Quarantining

A professor of epidemiology says filling in forms at Irish airports isn’t enough to tackle the South African variant of Covid-19.

Three cases of this strain have been found here, all linked to travel from the country.

Yesterday 4,842 new cases were recorded nationally, including 110 in Clare, after a record 8,248 were reported on Friday.
