Post Mortem On Woman’s Death in Clare Shows No Signs of Foul Play

Foul play has been ruled out in the death of a woman whose body was found near to the River Shannon yesterday.

A Garda investigation had been launched after the remains of the woman, who was aged in her sixties, was found near to Ardnacrusha Power Station yesterday.

A post mortem was carried out this afternoon at University Hospital Limerick, and Gardaí have now confirmed that their investigation is being stood down.
