Clare County Council is considering upgrading Quin’s Waste Water treatment plant.
There have been numberous complaints from residents in the village over odour problems near the facility.
The issue has been raised by several councillors and Junior Minister and Clare TD Tony Kileen wrote to Clare County Council seeking action on the matter.
