Ennistymon Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway is on track to retain his seat in Seanad Éireann.
Senator Conway has a total of 90,153 votes after four counts in the administrative panel.
Just three other candidates are ahead of him in the picking order, while sitting Senator Mark Daly of Fianna Fáil has already been elected, with six more seats to fill.
