Clare’s Oireachtas members are being invited to a special meeting on the future of Garda services locally.
Clare County Council is to hold a special meeting on planned Garda reforms, which include the amalgamation of the Clare Garda Division with that of Tipperary.
Local representatives will use the meeting to argue that the Headquarters of the newly-expanded Division should be in Ennis, rather than Tipperary, and are looking for the county’s TDs and Senator to back them up.
