PNA Ambulance Crews In Ennis Mount Fifth Strike Day

Ambulance workers in Ennis are taking to the picket lines once again today, as they join their colleagues nationally for a fifth day of strike action.

Paramedics from the National Ambulance Service Representative Association are locked in an ongoing dispute with the HSE over union recognition.

Traditionally, ambulance personnel were represented by SIPTU but since 2010, up to 500 of them have defected to the NASRA, which is affiliated with the Psychiatric Nurses Association.
