Plans Lodged For Major Development At Trump’s Doonbeg Golf Resort

Planning permission has been formally lodged for a new 40 million euro extension at Trump’s Doonbeg Hotel and Golf Resort.

The proposed development includes the construction of a ballroom, a leisure facility including a restaurant, 53 new dwellings to be used for short-term tourist accommodation, as well as parking and other facilities.

A decision will be made at the beginning of next year, while submissions can be made up until the 3rd of December.

Speaking recently, Director of Sales and Marketing Evan Butler said the development is part of the company’s master plan, which he believes will benefit the whole region.
