Ennis Cathedral

Construction of a planned columbarium wall at Ennis Cathedral is expected to be completed later this year.

Planning permission has already been granted for the works, which are being embarked upon following consultation with the Ennis Parish Pastoral Council and the Parish Finance Committee.

The Columbarium, which is a wall where the remains of cremated ashes are stored, will be located in the old Mortuary Chapel at Ennis Cathedral and will provide a sacred resting place for 240 people.
