It’s claimed people in West Clare are living in fear because of long ambulance waiting times.
Independent Councillor PJ Ryan, who is a member of the HSE’s Regional Health Forum West, is calling for a dramatic improvement in response times, saying its badly needed in this county.
The HSE insists work is ongoing on a continuing basis in ensuring the ambulance service operates at its best.
