Overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has fallen today.
There are 43 patients waiting for a bed at University Hospital Limerick this morning according to the INMO – down from 62 yesterday.
UHL remains the most overcrowded hospital in the country – ahead of University Hospital Cork, which has 25 patients waiting to be admitted.

It comes on a day when 234 people are on trolleys in hospitals across the country.
