Overcrowding Levels Spike In UHL

There’s been a spike in the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital today.

The latest figures from the INMO show 39 people are waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick, 22 of those in the new emergency department.

It’s the most overcrowded in the country once again, with today’s figure nine more than the next busiest facility.
