Overcrowding Easing But UHL Still Busiest In Country

Nurses say the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is easing, though University Hospital Limerick remains the busiest in the country.

44 patients were left waiting for beds there this morning, 21 of those in the emergency department.

The overall figures is 6 more than Galway University Hospital, which is the next busiest facility.
