O’Brien To Give ‘Grace’ Case Evidence

The HSE’s Director General has agreed to provide the Public Accounts Committee with a written statement on his previous evidence over the case of ‘Grace’ to the committee within seven days.

Tony O’Brien came under fire today over his evidence 13 months ago, and at one point the Committee examined asking the Dáil to delay the inquiry into the ‘Grace’ foster care scandal.

The terms of reference for the inquiry will now be passed by the Dáil this afternoon and the Seanad later, formally establishing the Commission of Investigation.
