Nurses Call For National Intervention Over High Trolley Numbers At UHL

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is calling for national intervention, following high levels of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital this week.

The latest INMO figures show 42 patients have been left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 22 of those in the Emergency Department.

It represents over 57% of all of those on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
