Nunan To Contest For Labour In Ireland South

Sheila Nunan has been selected to contest Ireland South for Labour in this May’s European Parliament elections.

The outgoing general secretary of the Irish National Teachers’ was chosen to contest May’s European Parliament elections at the party’s convention today in The Imperial Cork Hotel.

Former Clare TD Michael McNamara also sought selection at today’s convention.

The Ireland South constituency is due to increase from a four seater to a five seater at the European Parliament elections on May 24th.
