Number Of South East Clare Areas Could Be Connected To Broadband Network By Summer

A number of areas of South East Clare could be connected under the National Broadband Plan by the summer.

National Broadband Ireland has confirmed to Fine Gael Deputy Joe Carey that more than 1,300 homes and businesses in Clonlara, Parteen, Cratloe and Meelick will have access to the broadband network by the end of August.

It’s also believed surveying works are underway covering nearly 3,000 homes and businesses in the Shannon, Sixmilebridge, Kilkishen, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Quin, Broadford and Tulla areas.
