Drop In Number Of Flu Cases At Ennis General Hospital

Visiting restrictions remain in place at Ennis General Hospital following an outbreak of the flu.

Seven cases of the virus were confirmed there last week, but that number has now been reduced to two.

The facility has assisted University Hospital Limerick by transferring patients who were symptomatic from Dooradoyle and housing them in single rooms in Ennis.
