Number Of COVID Patients At UHL Continues To Fall

The number of patients being treated for COVID-19 at the region’s main hospital is continuing to fall.

There were 17 patients with the virus in University Hospital Limerick as of this morning – down by seven in 24 hours.

It is, however, one more than the number of people with COVID in Dooradoyle on the same day last week.

Meanwhile, UHL is the most overcrowded hospital in the country today, though the 19 people waiting for a bed, according to the INMO, is well back on figures reported by the Organisation in recent weeks.
