‘Not Around Us’ No Smoking Campaign Launched In Clare

A new campaign has been launched in Clare in what health officials say they hope is a further step towards a tobacco and vape free county.

The local authority and a number of other local stakeholders have launched the ‘Not Around Us’ initiative, primarily aimed at young people, with the aim of denormalising smoking for the next generation.

It’s in response to a national target set by the government for a less than five percent smoking prevalence in Ireland by 2025.
