No New COVID-19 Cases In Clare; 98 Confirmed Nationally

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that 4 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in Ireland have died.

It brings to 1,772, the total number of COVID-19 related deaths here.

The HPSC has been notified of 98 confirmed cases of the virus, bringing the total number in Ireland to 26,470.

There have been no new cases identified today in Clare although 2 cases of yesterday’s 69 have been added to the county total bringing it to 401.

Of today’s cases, 68% are under 45 years of age and 67 are confirmed to be associated with outbreaks or are close contacts of a confirmed case.
