One lane is closed with diversions in place.

Separately, another car left the road shortly before 9am this morning between junctions 7 and 8 of the N18 near Sixmilebridge and the scene has since been cleared.

Gardaí say there are no reports of injuries in either incident.

They’re advising motorists to drive with extreme care as weather conditions overnight have led to icy stretches on some roads this morning.
