New Primary Health Care Centre In Killaloe Given The Green Light

A new Primary Health Care Centre in Killaloe has been given the green light

Clare County Council has granted planning permission for the development, which will also include a pharmacy at Shantraud, subject to a number of conditions.

The Primary Healthcare Centre facility planned for Shantraud, will provide for HSE Services, General Practice floor space for non allocated private healthcare consultancy and health service meeting rooms.

There will also be administrative offices, staff accommodations, reception and associated uses.

The proposals also include a new entrance off Convent Hill, a pedestrian link to Hill Road parking, external amenities including landscaping, lighting, and an ESB substation.

The Planning Authority has granted permission, subject to thirteen conditions.

A number of submissions have been made in relation to the project, which can be appealed to An Bord Pleanala.
