New Laws Could Allow Cross-Border Evidence From Northern Legacy Cases

New laws could be passed to allow gardaí to give evidence surrounding Legacy Cases in the North to a court here in the Republic.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs says unprecedented legislation is being drafted to allow the co-operation.

It comes as lawyers in the north bid to unearth the truth about a string of sectarian murders.
