New figures Show Clare On Front Lines Of Battle Against Litter

New figures show Clare is one of the best performing counties nationwide in the fight against litter.

The Banner’s local authority ranks in the top five of the 30 councils who were analysed with regards to regulation and enforcement of waste services per number of waste permits held.

It has also been revealed that over 3,500 non routine inspections were carried out in Clare between 2014 and 2016 which is more than twice the national average.
