New Drink-Driving Law Will Be “Final Nail In Coffin” For Rural Pubs

The chair of the Clare branch of the Vintners Federation of Ireland believes changes to drink driving laws could be the final nail in the coffin for rural pubs.

It’s in response to the Transport Minister’s plans to automatically ban anyone caught over the limit from the roads.

The Taoiseach has imposed the party whip, ordering all Fine Gael members to toe the party line and support the legislation.
