New Deadline Set For Stormont Talks

Political parties in Northern Ireland have yet another new deadline to form a powersharing government – of June 29th.

The secretary of state’s introduced legislation at Westminster that gives a three-week window to strike a deal after the UK general election.

It’s the fourth limit that’s been put on the deadlocked process that has seen the two main parties – Sinn Fein and the DUP – struggle to reach an agreement.
