New Clare Sinn Leader Chair Hopeful Of McKee Election

Ennis Sinn Féin’s new Cathaoirleach is confident the party’s only elected councillor is a serious contender for the next General Election – if the time is right.

Tommy Guilfoyle has been unanimously selected to lead the county town’s branch of the party.

Noeleen Moran from Ballyvaughan was put forward as their candidate the last time out but failed to win a seat – while Sinn Féin’s only councillor in this county is Mike McKee of Shannon.
