New Clare Macra Chair Calls For Reinvestment In Young Farmers In West Clare

The new chair of Clare Macra says it’s vital to reinvest in young farmers in the west of the county.

As it stands, there’s no branch of Macra na Feirme past Ennis, with those joining the organisation forced to travel long distances to attend.

The Ennis club was brought back into existence in 2013 and has flourished since, while there’s also Kilmurry/Sixmilebridge and Kincora in the East.
