Mystery Of Bone Found On Kilkee Beach Solved

The mystery surrounding a bone found on a beach in West Clare appears to have been been solved.

A member of the public contacted Gardaí last week after finding what the believed to be a human arm on Farrihy beach in Kilkee.

But the bone was given to Clare’s County Dog Warden, Frankie Coote after forensic tests revealed they were belonging to an animal.

It had been believed that it was an Ape’s arm, but now it appears the bone could be that of a grey seal.
