Mounting Calls In Clare For Family Carers To Be Prioritised For COVID Vaccine

There are growing calls in Clare for family carers to be prioritised for the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine.

It’s been reported that the government believes the cohort of 500,000 family carers across the country would be too large a group to advance up the queue for the jab.

Carers employed by the HSE are being treated as healthcare workers and getting their vaccine in the second priority group.
