Gardaí are advising motorists to slow down and drive with extra care on Clare roads this morning.
Persistent rain is leading to dangerous conditions on some of the county’s roads, with flash flooding in places.
The N67 Kilrush to Ennis Road is said to be particularly bad, as well as local roads around Newmarket on Fergus.
