More Overcrowding at UHL

One-in-six of all patients who were awaiting admission to Irish hospitals this morning were at University Hospital Limerick.

The INMO has found that 55 patients were awaiting admission at Dooradoyle this morning, 34 of them in the hospital’s emergency department.

By contrast, the next busiest hospital is reported to be in Drogheda, with 29 patients in a similar situation there.
