Moran: Sinn Fein Will Use UK Elections To Campaign Against Brexit

A Clare Sinn Fein representative says her party will use the upcoming UK Elections to campaign for a rejection of Brexit.

Voters will go to the polls on June 8th, after MP’s voted in favour of the move announced by Prime Minister Theresa May.

In the North, there’s the prospect of a double election, if a deal isn’t reached to save the Assembley and Unionist parties have already confirmed they’ll meet to discuss constituency pacts ahead of the General Election.

And while Ballyvaughan native Noeleen Moran has accused the the British Government of neglecting the people of the North, she believes the election will provide an opportunity to ensure there won’t be a hard border between the North and South.
