An ‘Uber’ type app for rural transport is among the measures outlined in the new Strategy for the Development of Rural Clare.

The ten year strategy targets the creation of four thousand jobs and is being launched today at Kilmaley Day Care Centre by Minister for Rural and Community Development Michael Ring.

Speaking this afternoon, he has praised the first of its kind strategy and described its measures as “practical and common sense.”
