MidWest Simon’s Services Under Strain As Homeless Figures Rise

MidWest Simon’s services are said to be under severe strain as the number of people entering homelessness continues to rise.

Latest figures from the Department of Housing show that there are now 176 homeless children in this region – that’s more than double the figure a year ago.

There are 72 homeless adults in Clare alone, among 379 in the MidWest, which itself is among close to 10,000 nationally.
