Michael Cusack Statue To Be Unveiled Today

A statue of GAA legend Michael Cusack is being unveiled outside the county grounds named in his honour in Ennis today.

Born in Carran, on the fringe of the Burren, Cusack was a founding member of the GAA in 1884.

His likeness will stand at the entrance of Cusack Park on Francis Street and will be officially unveiled in a ceremony after the Clare minor hurlers’ Munster semi-final this evening.
