Met Éireann has upgraded it’s weather warning for Clare.
A mid-level status orange wind warning is in place for the county between midnight saturday and noon.
Storm Brian will see winds of up to 80 kilomtres per hour battering the county, and gusts of up to 130 kilometres per hour.
Meanwhile, a status yellow rain warning remains in place until midnight tonight.
Met Éireann has forecast up to 50 millimetres of rain, with a risk of flooding in places.
